About Search Description:
Search description is the summary of your blog post. In google search result page under our post’s title what we see is called “search description”. When we don’t write custom search description on individual post google shows random summary from our post, and that is not good to impress visitor.So now in this post I’ll show you how to enable custom search description in blogger. This is a built in option of blogger, but by default it remain turn off in a new blog. We just have to enable it.
How to Enable Search Description:
Step 1: Login to your blogger account select Settings from blogger main menu. Now click on Search preferences under settings.Step 2: Click on Edit under Meta tags option.
Step 3: Here you will found 2 option (Yes & No) tick on Yes a new box will appear. Write down your blog description (not post) in there.
Step 4: Now finally hit the Save changes button. You are successfully enabled search description for every post.

How to Write Search Description:
By flowing above steps you have enabled search description setting for your blog. Now we will see how to write search description in a post.Step 1: Go to your post editor or attempt to write a new post.
Step 2: From post editor write side menu (under label & permalink) click on Search Description.
Step 3: A blank box will appear write the post summary(what you want to show under post title in google search result page) in there & press Done button.
